I am a HUGE fan of Firefox! (Firefox is my favorite and is what I use for blogging, posting, pictures, and everything else in between!
I truly do notice a much faster connection, and a very easy way to post banners, pictures and video.

You do not have to replace Internet Explorer, you can choose every time you get online, which you would rather use. But I am always impressed with Firefox, and choose Firefox almost all the time.
