5)Make up all of the missed appointments due to pain, RSD, etc, and reschedule them around MY schedule for once!
6)Get new glasses!
7)Establish a very structured schedule for the 3 little monsters in my life, because we are always behind, very busy, messy, and I am always going crazy!
8)Schedule more school work for the children, for weekends and after school. (I would like to see how well we would do for an at home type schooling for the very near future!)
9)Start a new extremely structured budget! Stick with it and do the envelope cash deal!
10)Clear out my emails as soon as I get them, and stop letting them pile up!
11)Try to help other RSD sufferers, (I have been dealing with this dilemma, which constantly holds me back from every day life and chores, and worst of all, my family)
12)Get re involved with the presidential campaigns and help get people to vote and know what they are voting for!
13)Stop letting RSD control me and my life!
14)Stop letting RSD control my husbands and childrens lives!
15)Research as much as I can about any and every new pain management test, treatment, doctor, clinic, hospital, and help make our Government more aware of this awful disease!
16)Stop piling so many things on my to do list and stick with my daily routine as best I can with my cleaning schedule, errands, and make cleaning 1 room and the bathrooms a daily chore, rather then try to clean the whole house! Make errand day 1 day a week! Laundry, at least every other day!
17)Try like crazy to make and sell as much opera fudge and regular fudge as possible, to have an extra source of income
18)Stop making so many long to do lists, project lists, and New Years Resolution lists;p
19)SAVE!
20)use my Amazon Chase rewards card as much as possible and always pay off! (But you earn 1,2, and 3 points per dollar, and you can use these for Amazon orders! )I actually pay a few hundred each week on this card, and use it for gas, groceries, to pay some bills, and for shopping when necessary. I can pay for Christmas, (I normally do), just with these points on Amazon!!
So, I have been off to a good start with these. I was very much impressed and I have tried to make myself realize that I can not expect to get everything done, every single day. Especially with my RSD in my feet, ankles, and legs, I should not expect to force myself to get it all done on bad days! After all, I have to save any "Low pain days" for my pt bartender job, and my children, (the latter being the most important!)
Most of all, I really have got to learn how to say NO! I am always trying to please everybody, help everybody, and run around for everybody, do everything for everybody, I have stopped that already, well, kind of!
But, I always preach how the small things are what is most important, and life is to short, and blah blah blah, but then here I am, driving 100 miles on a normal day, and helping every person I run into!
No, it is not a bad thing, but it has to be limited. You can not live your life just to help others, and make sure others have everything they could need and want, before yourself. (of course you can do this when it comes to your children, but even then, there must be a set limit!)
The New Year started off pretty well, and I just had a few minor pain issues. New pain, new symptoms, stolen meds, and I have been doing my best and this is just what I have to accept, and nothing more!
The computer is very high on my list, (no, the list above was in no certain order), but my online business, blogs, and sites, reviews, I have got to get together! I have many goals, and I don't plan on going anywhere for a very, very long time!
So, expect to see a lot more posts, and links and fans and friends, because this is my ft job and I have every intention to make this a huge success!
That's all I have to say about these for now, but there will be plenty more on this all to come, each week. It will be a weekly post about how my family, and myself, are doing with our structured spending, schedules, errands, cleanup toy time, schoolwork, and so on.
Please feel free to leave any links to your organizational blogs, business, sites, or any suggestions or comments! They are all always welcome here!

Managing time at Home

I often have a very long "to do list", I do lists of to do lists that I need to write, and daily, and weekly, and even monthly project to do lists!
I will even narrow it all down to several different categories, online work, bills, mail, phone calls, errands, paperwork, housework, projects, ( This normally includes uncluttering projects, lol).
The online work to do list, is getting to be the longest, and takes up one whole side of the notebook paper. This includes, blogs, surveys, points sites, answering emails, facebook, twitter, paying bills, reviews, personal facebook, Old Navy and Amazon orders, Groupon orders, research, and lots more that I can't seem to think of off the top of my head. I wish so much that I had a laptop, or Notebook, or anything that would help me tackle this list and complete the entire thing! I believe this would enable me to spend a lot less time in 'the computer room" and I will definately feel more at ease, getting this all worked on and finished each day.
So I think I have to make a game plan! I have to somehow put some money aside each week, until I have enough to cover a pretty good, but very reasonably priced, lap top. I am very interested in any comments, suggestions, reviews, thoughts, anything about your experience with any laptops, so I know what price range and time frame I am looking at.
The rest of my 'to do lists" are just a matter of trying to find a babysitter for a few hours a week, so that I can get some housework and house projects done. With Aaron in 2nd grade, and Genevive in preschool 3 days per week, I think I figured out the errands for the time being. (At least the local errands)
Genevive only attends preschool 3 days a week, and for 2 and a half hours at a time, so between that time, Deegan and I can run to Boyers Markets, Walmart, CVS, the post office, the bank, the farmers market, and maybe Weis. These are all within 25 miles, and I can get 1 or sometimes a few done in a day. I am very greatful for the way the smaller children behave in the stores. Deegan is 1, so he should be ok for the rest of the school year. After that, I will have to revise my errand list.
I am looking for any cute printables, or to do list tablets, notebooks, that are handmade, or that someone sells!
Please leave any links for any of these types of products, I would love to have cute papers with plenty of room, that i can check off on the side as the day goes and I can be happy to watch the lines get crossed off or the little boxes checked!!

One Crazy Morning! Help Me!!

I woke up this morning, I believe it was 4am, (as usual), with overbearing pain in my legs, again, as almost every morning. So, I made a pot of coffee and figured i would try and figure out more of my blogging adventure.
It's hard to move at first in the morning, thanks to charly horses, restless leg syndrome, and whatever else decides to pop up in the middle of the night. It has been raining and raining here, and our forecast shows nothing but 6 more days of rain. So, I'm not looking forward to this since the RSD and arthritis seem to get much worse in this type of weather.
Coffee and some of my hundreds of prescriptions, do seem to help a little bit, and more recently I found, so does a very hot shower!
I thought ok, I have a few hours to get my blog work done, finish my grocery list, get the coupons and binder in order, and start my weekly and daily to do list.
That is what I thought until 3 little kids decided to change all of these plans!
15 minutes after waking up, Deegan, (he's 1), started running through the house, yelling. "mom! MOM!!!", so I picked him up, squeezed and kissed him, changed his diaper, gave him a little bottle of milk, and laid him on my bed.
My room is where the computer sits, and next to that, is Aaron's room. I started hearing moaning and very soft crying almost immediately, and went over to see what was going on. He was tossing and turning and crying all at once, while holding his belly. Well, this type of behavior and belly holding kind of freak me out. For some reason, I have a real issue with hearing about these appendicitis outbreaks, so I never ever take bellyaches very lightly. Especially when they are paired up with crying, then wailing, and then the best parts start...........
Aaron is 8, and in 2nd grade. He is still a big mommy boy, lol, and when he is sick, he is very sick, and really needs his mommy! I grabbed a bowl, and some tissues, hard candy, soda with crushed ice, and a blanket. He was in the bathroom for quite some time, and came out saying he felt better, can he go to school? I thought, well hopefully this will pass and in a few hours, he will be alright for school. Aaron laid on my bed and fell asleep and seemed to be doing ok.
By this time, Genevive, (she is 4, and normally the first, very early riser of the day!), woke up. She does tend to be a little loud early in the morning, and no matter what time it is, she wants to have her hair brushed, breakfast, new clothes on, lol, she is wide awake and ready for her day!
Out of nowhere, Aaron wakes up. jumps out of bed, and well, I'll spare you the details....
It is now after 8, all 3 are awake, Aaron is brushing his teeth for I believe the third time, and taking his second shower of the morning, the poor little guy. Genevive is all dressed and watching Spongebob Squarepants. Deegan is running through the house, trying to climb on the table, the chairs, the bench, and trying his hardest to reach some Goldfish crackers, yes, already!
This is why I have been saving the drafts for this post for a couple hours. I type a few sentences, then i hear "MOM!", from somewhere, and I need to try my best to walk through the house and try to find all the kids, and gather them in one room!
If Aaron doesn't get any better in a few more hours, I will be calling the doctor. I also will be going to the store to grab some ginger ale and more ice.

Busy, Busy, Busy Week

I must start off by explaining why i have not been here the past few days. I often like to get to comments, followers, and to read other blogs, each day. But, once a month, (sometimes more), I have a week where each and every day is filled with errands, and dr appointments.
I have RSD, so my appointments are quite often, every week. My youngest son, Deegan, also has a few medical conditions, and he also typically has appointments each week. This particular week, has both of us going crazy with appointments! Thank goodness it is almost over!
I work tommorrow night, (my actual night off from my real job, lol). So, i plan on learning some more about designing my blogs, and website, and finishing my Facebook pages, this weekend.
Please, if there is anybody out there who is an excellent time organizer, post a comment here with your link!
I wonder if I will ever have 5 minutes to just do nothing. Even with the very minimal amount of sleep i get each night, (due to RSD), I still tend to run out of time every day!
Yesterday was an exception;p
I was getting thoroughly annoyed with my to do lists that never seem to end, and I decided to stop and enjoy the rest of the evening with the 3 youngest kids.
I have a notebook where I list each days events, schedules, housework, mail, small and not so small projects, and I have a notebook just for to do lists for the computer!
So, yesterday early evening, I decided to throw this list away, (yes, I'm a bit nervous, thinking I may have forgotten to transfer something to todays list, lol) But I think I am starting to not care;p
I have a day and a half "off" this coming weekend, so I believe I can manage to get more accomplished then.
I am even thinking of taking today "off" as well. I have to work Friday night, at my pt job, (i consider that job as a break from my full time/overtime job at home;p)But, I should have some time this weekend after all.
Yesterday evening I decided we should go swimming, and play for a while, and have a slumber party in the living room. The kids love to have slumber parties, and for the most part, they love the pool.
Deegan especially loves swimming, and floated around in a panda bear intertube for almost 2 hours! He started to fall asleep, but would not let go of my hand.
Deegan also started to walk last night, after we came back inside, and had a snack.
We were very excited and he was to excited, i guess, because every time he would walk, he would giggle hysterically and clap for himself, which would lead to his falling down. Over and over again. He was so proud of himself, and so were his big sister and brother! (and me of course)
I believe I'm going to do what I can today, get to my appointment this afternoon, and rush back home, in hopes that the rain does not start, and we can go swimming again! Maybe we can practice walking again too;p
